This dashboard provides a high-level view of the overall make-up and completeness of SFMOMA's artist, artwork and exhibition metadata. The metadata is fully described and made available to all on SFMOMA's Collection Metadata Download site on GitHub. This code for this dashboard is also available to all on it's own GitHub repo.

Artist information completeness ( records)

This chart shows how complete the information SFMOMA has in its Collection Management System for all artists records. For example, you will be able to see for what percentage of artists there is, birth year or birth place information.

Artwork information completeness ( records)

This chart shows how complete the information SFMOMA has in its Collection Management System for artworks. For example, you will be able to see for what percentage of artworks there is, material or dimension information. .

Exhibition information completeness ( records)

This chart shows how complete the information SFMOMA has in its Collection Management System for exhibitions.
